Not every dog gets the chance to grow old in a loving forever home. Some dogs have spent their lives surviving on the streets, others are waiting for their second chance, and some are simply too old or too fragile to start over somewhere new.

At Demi&RescueFriends, I care for dogs who need a safe place to stay, whether they are recovering from difficult circumstances, waiting for adoption, or enjoying a peaceful retirement in their senior years.

Some of these dogs will stay with me for the rest of their lives. They may never have a traditional forever home, but that doesn't mean they deserve any less love, comfort or care.

What is a virtual dog parent?

Becoming a Virtual Dog Parent means choosing a dog to support from wherever you are in the world.

You don't need to live on Curaçao, and you don't need to be able to adopt a dog yourself. You can still become part of their story by helping contribute towards the care they need.

Your support helps me provide essentials such as nutritious food, everyday care, and medical attention when needed. It also helps me continue giving these dogs a safe and comfortable environment where they can live with dignity.

You choose the dog whose story touches your heart, and together, we help make their life a little brighter.

What does your support provide?

Your contribution helps towards the ongoing costs of caring for the dogs, including:

  • Food and nutrition — providing the daily meals they need to stay healthy.

  • Veterinary care — helping cover medical treatment, medication and other health-related needs.

  • Daily care and comfort — maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
